Why a ‘case study brochure’?

Cairnhill Structures has total experience in ten core specialisms, covering Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Bridges, Marine, Storage Tanks, Rails, etc.
And, for all of these, the company provided the same services and solutions which made the project simpler – as we could simply reuse the same text in each publication but with different imagery.

However, with the knowledge the company would be sending out more than one sector brochure to a client, we needed a way to differentiate the content between the brochures.

Because of this, the simple concept of the case study brochure was borne, whereby each publication would feature 6 case studies of work within that specific sector.

A family of brochures

Taking inspiration from the company’s website and powerful brand style – both created by Design Inc – the brochures were each designed to feature a hero shot of the representative sector on the cover with blue wash overlay and complimentary gold colouring within.

This ‘brochure family’ comprised one 8pp company overview brochure, six 6pp sector case brochures as well as a corporate folder into which the publications would sit.

Once approved, Design Inc also handled the print. The company overview brochure benefited from matt lamination to the outer covers and the folder had both matt lamination and spot UV varnish to the cover.

We are pleased to have support Cairnhill Structures since 2013.
