The brief
Having supported CLS Group with website hosting and support services for the last few years, we were approached and asked to pitch for the opportunity to build their new customer website.
The approach
We scoped and specified the new site for CLS Group while running a number of internal and external workshops and heatmaps to help define the UX in terms of user journeys and navigation.
In addition, we also undertook an extensive content mapping exercise to ensure that the correct content would eventually be automatically migrated.
The client required their site to be built in a powerful, secure and highly flexible CMS – one that would allow for easy and immediate editing.
Our recommendation was to build it in the latest version of Umbraco – a powerful open source CMS based on .net.
The outcome
We are pleased to say that the website launched ahead of time, with the client and their stakeholders delighted with the end result.
The new website offers a great platform for future development as it has been built with scalability and flexibility in mind.
