The new BACA aviation rebranding was planned to make a break from the historical links with the Baltic Exchange. They had made the decision to be renamed The Air Charter Association (ACA) and were looking for a new brand style to complement this brand evolution.
The brand brief required that the design be modern, accessible and at the same time reflect the identity of a global, trusted and established organisation.
And, having previously supported the organisation for other collateral pieces, we were delighted to be able to support with this project too.
Aviation rebranding
The preferred new identity design selected is a visual play on a tick of approval and a stylised aircraft silhouette – underpinning the role of The Air Charter Association in promoting governance within the sector.
The new aviation rebranding and website was unveiled at the 70th Party and well received across all stakeholder groups.
To complement the new brand identity, we also supported them with the design and build of their new website, – which now better showcases The Air Charter Association’s role.
The overall UX is more like that of a best practice ‘mobile first’ site in the style of a commercial charter or management company. The imagery has been dramatically upgraded and the new design showcases the new brand style perfectly. Furthermore, with back office integration with aspects such as the CRM software and member database, the site provides the organisation with much more flexibility than ever before.
