Since 1960, Celsur Plastics has established itself as a front runner within the UK’s office supplies market.
With one of the largest product & material ranges available anywhere, the company provides clients all over the UK with over three thousand items monthly. In 2017, they approached Design Inc for a new website.

Celsur has a stock range of over 5,000 different items. Add the fact that 20% of their monthly requests are bespoke items, made to order, it was becoming more and more difficult to manage the sales. A decision was made to build a new website that would help attract more relevant enquiries as well as to streamline the ordering, finance and stock control processes.

Design Inc web design team worked closely with the client over five months, designing the style, building the site structure, gathering product imagery & data, and coding an API to work with their CRM solution, ‘Opera’.

Of course, it was crucial that the site should be built ‘mobile-first’ showcasing all their products in a way which was informative, engaging and simple to use way.

It was agreed early on that Celsur’s ecommerce website should be build on the WordPress platform and a lot of work went into the personalisation of the site’s CMS solution, enabling the client to manage the content and functionality in a way they had not been used to.
Now, they could manage stock control, better engage with customers, offer trade &/or marketing discounts, raise invoices & VAT receipts, update search filters.

Furthermore, with the addition of WooCommerce plug-ins, the client has immediate access to sales & financial reports which helps them identify & respond to market trends.
