The role

We are now looking for a highly motivated and capable Business Development Manager / Account Manager to join our busy agency and help grow and develop our client base.

We are an independent, full-service agency with a passion for all things marketing: branding, advertising, literature, exhibitions, digital, web & events. We are now on the hunt for a Business Development Manager to help manage existing accounts, attract new ones and develop long lasting relationships.

This is a demanding role in a busy agency and, whilst a good understanding of the creative & digital landscape is useful, it is not essential. What is essential is the desire to be part of a successful team.

Key responsibilities

  • Become an integral member of the Agency and involve yourself fully in the day-to-day life of the business
  • Understand clients’ requirements and confidently demonstrate the added value of Design Inc’s services & solutions
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities and demonstrate the ability to turn them into profitable accounts
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with your clients
  • Take responsibility and day-to-day ownership of any allocated requests
  • Work closely with the team to ensure delivery of the projects to brief, deadline & budget
  • Effectively communicate with all functions within the business
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships

The ideal candidate

  • A proven track record in business development / sales / account management
  • Knowledge of the marketing landscape with an understanding of; print, advertising, branding & digital solutions.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • The ability and desire to go above and beyond to work with the team to deliver exceptional creative solutions for our clients
