Epsom and St Helier Hospital - 'Clean Your Hands' campaign

When Epsom and St Helier University Hospital introduced their successful 'Clean Your Hands' campaign to bring awareness to the dangers of MRSA, C-diff and healthcare-associated infection, it was imperative that the message was clear, concise and targetted towards everyone in and around the hospital, including staff at all levels and well as patients and visitors alike.

Design Inc were chosen from a shortlist of selected design agencies to support them in this campaign through targetted information area at selected points within the hospital.

The first thing we needed to do was to understand the reason behind this campaign, ie why now? targetted to whom? desired outcome? etc. Once we took a full brief and understood the associated budgets, we were able to provide back a design & print campaign. First, a local press photoshoot was organised for which we also supplied the backing boards/banners for the area.

Next, a series of information leaflets were developed - focussing on the dangers of infection and what can be done to help reduce the risks.

The final part of the project will be concluded in the New Year with follow-up material being created and distributed.
