The Power of a Website Blog

26th October 2009 by Frank Norman

As a website user, you have probably heard of blogs, or web logs. In fact you are reading one now. They are personal accounts, written by different authors, of daily thoughts, messages, announcements.

But, did you know they are one of the greatest SEO tools to bring real customers quickly and directly to your website, to view your service & products.

How quick, I hear you ask? Well, consider this…last Monday, less than 1 hour after we added a story on our blog congratulating Jenson Button, we received a call from a motorsports company looking for a creative agency to support them with a significant rebranding project, which will include website design, brochures and most of their on- & off-line marketing collateral.

We have proved it works for ourselves, so how about you?

Contact us now to find out how.

Congratulations to Jenson Button

For those of you who know me, you will already know about my interest and background in motorsport [see my profile].

So it will come as no surprise that I am delighted to see Jenson Button claim the F1 World Championship crown.

I have met Jenson a few times in the past, one of the first times was at Brands Hatch in 1998 when he won the Formula Ford Festival. This was an amazing finale to a fantastic first year of single-seater racing, especially as he also won the British Formula Ford title that same year. It was then when I could truly see that exciting things were to come from this young racer, albeit later in his career than we all expected.
So, it was fitting, that on the day Jenson clinched the F1 crown in Brazil, I was again at Brands Hatch watching this year’s crop of young drivers at the 2009 Formula Ford Festival

And, who should we bump into there…none other than ex- British Formula 1 champion, Damon Hill, who was nice enough to have his picture taken with my son, Jack.
For me, a motorsport fan, this was a perfect weekend in all ways. Just a shame that when we were walking away from Damon Hill, my son asked me (quite loudly) “who was that man with the beard?” I turned around to check that Damon hadn’t heard, but he had, he turned, smiled at me then continued on his way.

Design Inc. picks up where Metal FX metallic inks leaves off

14th October 2009 by Anthony

Anyone who has looked to enhance their corporate identity through professional creative design may be familiar with the Metal FX metallic ink printing process (which is basically the over printing of full colour inks onto silver ink to create a knew metallic depth to standard CMYK colours).

Not all however, may know that the Metal FX company is no longer trading and therefore able to supply their own brand of metallic silver printing inks to printers and creative design agencies in the UK.

Middlesex design agency Design Incorporated are able to use their own choice of metallic silver inks to create the same unique look and feel as Metal FX without the price tag. So if you would like to add something special to your next brochure design, business card design or whatever corporate design project is coming up next then let us know and we would be happy to explain the process to you further.

364 tomorrows

14th October 2009 by Dan Gilbert

It’s that time of year again, the nights are drawing in and a marketer’s thoughts turn to the festive season, entertaining, parties, glamour and of course calendars.

Ask yourself….

  • How can my brand be front of mind for all my clients 365 days a year without spamming them daily?
  • How can I thank my clients for their loyalty over the last 12 months and be politically correct about it?
  • How can I position an advert for my business proposition in front of my client for 52 weeks for a single media spend?

A creative bespoke branded calendar is your answer to all of the above.

A bespoke branded calendar design is the sign of a secure and robust business. It can engage your client on a number of levels from practical to aesthetic. It can provide a metaphor for your provision of a time sensitive or continuous joined-up service. It can reference historical or future significant dates for your business or include industry specific useful reference information.

An effective corporate calendar can have an Interactive element, it could link to an online time released CRM mechanism such as monthly updates or offers. It can be the opportunity to take a sideways look at a brand. A vehicle to deliver your proposition in a different way.

It will be perceived as a tailored, high value gift for clients, associates, partners & employees. Desktop, wall hanging or planner formats can all be effective brand ambassadors – your contact on the inside! A Trojan horse!

2010 a new decade – make it a year of 365 todays.

With your permission – we enter all our personally designed calendars for the Business Calendar Awards.
