Subsea UK
After months of careful planning and development, Aberdeen-based Subsea UK - the governing body of the UK subsea industry - has relaunched its website: www.subseauk.com.
The new site now provides comprehensive up-to-date details about the UK subsea industry and all its members and is aimed at presenting the UK subsea industry globally, giving visitors a clear picture of the British sector.
"When it came to finding a company to work with, we knew we needed someone special, someone who could handle all our requests", says Company Secretary of Subsea UK, Trish Burrell. "Our current website was cumbersome, outdated and did not reflect the full service offering. We got advice from some of our members about who to use and we found that one name kept coming up; Design Incorporated. So, we called them."
And call us, she certainly did.
Design Inc's Commercial Director, Frank Norman adds: "We spoke at length about their business and the relationship they have with their members. We found out what they needed from a website and how their existing website was letting them down. We quickly understood what they wanted to achieve from a better working website and sat down with the whole design team to discuss the way forward.
"We knew the new look should indicate the significance of the organisation's commitment to the UK's fastest growing sector," Says Dan Gilbert, Managing Director of Design Inc, "and so we decided to build a dynamic website that the whole industry would be highly proud of."
Trish Burrell agrees: "The guys at Design Incorporated really did us all proud. We're delighted with the new site. All our visitors are now greeted with a user-friendly portal with much simpler navigation. Our website now acts as a hub for all things subsea-related.
So, whether you want some information about a forthcoming exhibition, to sign up for an event, find a specific company or service, learn of the latest industry news, find a report, dearchive a presentation or of course, to become a member of Subsea UK, our website is now the place to go. And what's more, Design Inc added a comprehensive and easy-to-use content management area where we can fully manage our own site without compromising on quality. Thank you Design Inc"
